Since the beginning of the project in 2021, the Museum of Abandonment has been awarded multiple times. The Museum of Abandonment won in 2022 at the Awards Gala of the National Cultural Fund Administration (AFCN) the Social Inclusion and Intercultural Dialogue Award and at the Civil Society Gala, it won three First Awards in the sections: Art and Culture, Social Impact, Communication Campaigns on social matters. In 2023, the Museum of Abandonment was awarded at the XXI edition of the PR Award, with the Golden Award for Excellence in the Art and Culture section, the theme of XXI edition being diversity and inclusion. We were invited in December 2023 to the Co-Museum conference in Athens, where we presented our first immersive exhibition. In 2024 we were nominated at the Museums and Heritage + Awards for BEST USE OF DIGITAL, along with the best five museums in the world in this category. In May 2024, at the 13th edition of the Superscrieri Gala, we won two awards: the “Pe Urmele Abandonului” podcast received the 2nd prize in the Audio-Podcast category, and the “Harta Abandonului” project won the 2nd prize in the Civic Influencers category.
